The Ukrainian national team decided on the squad for the women’s sprint of the Biathlon World Cup in Annecy.
Ukraine will be represented in the race by a maximum of five female biathletes:
- Khrystyna Dmytrenko,
- Anastasia Merkushina,
- Oleksandr Merkushin,
- Lilia Steblina,
- Daryna Chalyk.
In the same composition, Ukraine started in the Hochfilzen sprint. Dmytrenko showed the best result then – 36th place.
The second personal start in the World Cup will be held by Liliya Steblina, who joined the national team after racing in the IBU Cup. It was at the stage in Annecy that the biathlete made her debut at the World Cup races last season.
Annecy women’s sprint will take place on Thursday, December 18, at 15:15 Kyiv time.
