Prior to that, Umerov announced that an agreement would be reached by the end of the week, “which will bring peace closer.”
Earlier it was reported that during the negotiations in Berlin with the Ukrainian delegation, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner allegedly pressured Kyiv with the demand to hand over the territories of Donbas, which are still under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, to the Russian Federation.
Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that Ukraine does not conduct a direct dialogue with the Russian side, but that it is actually represented by the Americans.
