This decision was supported by 285 elected representatives.
The document regulates the procedure for appointing members of the government and determines the specifics of termination of their powers.
The amendments to the law also oblige ministers to be present and report on the work performed when considering the issue of their dismissal (when the reason is a resignation) at the committee meeting and at the plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to Zheleznyak, submission of a written report on his work is also a mandatory condition when a member of the government submits a statement of resignation.
In addition, the amendments to the law stipulate a mandatory meeting with all factions and groups of the candidate for appointment to the Cabinet.
