It became known who will prepare Dynamo for the second part of the season

50-year-old Ukrainian specialist Ihor Kostyuk will remain the head coach of Kyiv Dynamo at least until the spring of 2026.

According to information Sport.uaKostyuk will lead the white-blue team to the winter training camp, where he will take the U-19 players with him.

Kostyuk will build a team for himself during the winter break – Dynamo president Ihor Surkis trusted him.

Ihor Kostyuk works in Dynamo as an acting head coach after the dismissal of Oleksandr Shovkovskyi.

Kostiuk spent four matches at the head of the first team – defeats against Poltava (1:2) and Fiorentina (1:2), and victories over Kudrivka (2:1) and Veres (3:0).

In the UPL 2025/26 table, Dynamo ranks fourth with 26 points. Kyiv will play their next match in the championship of Ukraine on February 21 against Rukh (17th round).

On December 18, Kostyuk’s wards will compete against the Armenian club Noa in the final, sixth round of the main stage of the Conference League. In five games of the third strongest European Cup, Dynamo scored only three points and prematurely lost its chances for the playoffs.
