According to the military, the Air Defense Forces neutralized 417 Russian drones, four Iskander-K cruise missiles and 9 Kalibr missiles. The main direction of the attack was the Odesa region.
In total, the radio engineering troops of the Air Force detected and escorted 495 air attack vehicles – 30 missiles of various types and 465 UAVs of various types. Among them:
- 465 attack UAVs of the Shahed type, “Gerbera” (unmanned aerial vehicles of other types) from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), Chauda, Gvardiyske (temporarily occupied Crimea), and about 270 of them are Shahed type drones;
- four Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles (launch areas – Tula, Tambov regions);
- five “Iskander-M”/KN-23 ballistic missiles (launch area – Crimea occupied by the Russian Federation);
- five “Iskander-K” cruise missiles (launch area – Kursk Region);
- 16 Kalibr cruise missiles (launch areas – the waters of the Black and Caspian Seas).
According to preliminary data, Air defense shot down / suppressed 430 air targets:
- 417 drones;
- four Iskander-K missiles;
- nine Kalibr missiles.
“Eight missiles and 33 strike UAVs were hit at 18 locations, downed targets (debris) fell at three locations. In addition, six missiles did not reach their targets (landing locations are being specified),” the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces concluded.
On the night of December 13, the forces of the Russian Federation carried out another massive attack on the territory of Ukraine. In Odesa, it is known about four victims and a hit on a civilian ship in the port. The Ministry of Energy is talking about blackouts in six regions. 5 people were injured in the Mykolaiv region.
“During the night, there is damage to civilian objects, energy and industrial infrastructure. As a result of the strikes, fires occurred, administrative buildings and energy facilities were damaged. Rescuers are working on liquidation of the consequences. Power outages are observed in some areas of the region,” Oleg Kiper, the head of Odesa OVA, said.
Kuleba reported that an employee of a private company was injured in Odesa port – he is receiving medical assistance. A container handler was also damaged. A Turkish-flagged ferry was damaged in the Black Sea port.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
According to the latest UN data, in Ukraine in 2025, the number of civilian deaths from long-range weapons increased by 26%, and the number of wounded – by 75%.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
