Izaki became one of the three youngest scorers of Shakhtar in European Cups. The Brazilian midfielder scored his first goal for the orange and black team on the international stage in a match against Hamrun Spartans (2:0) at the age of 18 years and 290 days. Among the Miner players, only Izaki’s compatriot Luca Meirellish and Venezuelan Kevin Kelsey scored in European cup tournaments at a younger age.
