NABU and SAP managed to release the judge participating in the mobilization evasion scheme

The Supreme Council of Justice considered a disciplinary complaint based on the case files of the SAP and NABU and dismissed the judge of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky City District Court of the Odesa Region, who helped conscripted men to illegally travel abroad and receive a deferment from mobilization.

Details: The law enforcement officers do not disclose the name of the judge, but “Ukrainian Pravda” learned from its sources that he is a judge Serhii Savitskyi.

According to the investigation, the specified judge was one of the members of an organized group working within the judicial system.

The scheme consisted in the mass adoption of court decisions on the seemingly independent upbringing of the child by the father under far-fetched circumstances. This allowed men to avoid mobilization and leave the country under the pretext of caring for a child.

For 3,500 dollars, without the participation of the parties, a decision was made in one court session, which gave the right to travel abroad.

The said judge made 348 unjust decisions, the total number of such decisions is 1040.

For the conspiracy, the perpetrators created a “back office” of the court in a law office and even advertised their “services” on social networks.

The NABU and SAP operation lasted more than a year.

Currently, there are 5 suspects and 9 convicts in the case, including:

• head of the court;
• former chairman of the court (current judge);
• judge;
• deputy chief of staff;
• three assistant judges;
• court specialist;
• court clerk;
• three lawyers;
• assistant attorney.
