The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine fined the companies “KM BUD” and “Municipal Construction Group” for 9.2 million hryvnias for collusion during the tender for the reconstruction of the heat network in Vyshnevo, Kyiv region.

“KM BUD” LLC and “Municipal Construction Group” LLC committed a violation provided for in Clause 4 of the second part of Article 6, Clause 1 of Article 50 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Economic Competition” in the form of anti-competitive concerted actions related to the distortion of the results of auctions, “AMCU reported.
According to the Committee, the participants did not act independently and actually eliminated competition between companies during participation in the tender for the reconstruction of the heating network in Vyshnevo. The expected value of the tender was UAH 20,952,890, and the customer in 2024 was KP “VYSHNIVSKTEPLOENERGO”.
“For the committed violation, fines totaling UAH 9,221,099.00 were imposed on “KM BUD” LLC and “Municipal Construction Group” LLC,” AMCU added.
The agency reminded that in accordance with the law “On Public Procurement”, business entities that have been prosecuted for anti-competitive concerted actions in the past three years may be denied participation in tenders.
Previously, PP “Kardan Motors Plus” and LLC “Karshe” distorted the results of auctions worth UAH 50.1 million for the purchase of temporary burial structures made of wood.
Formerly the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine fined three security companies for collusion during tenders conducted by the Kyivpastrans utility company.
