In the match of the fifth round of the main stage of the Conference League, Kyiv Dynamo lost to the Italian Fiorentina (1:2).

The Violets opened the scoring midway through the first half, when Moise Kean headed home after a pass from former Shakhtar Donetsk defender Dodo in the 18th minute.

Then, at the beginning of the second half, Igor Kostyuk’s team fought back – Oleksandr Pikhalyonok received the ball on the opponent’s penalty line, after which he threw it under the shot of Mykola Mykhaylenko, who powerfully punched it right into the corner of the Violets’ goal.

However, the home team had the last word, when in the 74th minute, Albert Gudmundsson made a successful finish and hit Ruslan Nescheret’s goal from the goal line, ahead of Mykola Shaparenko.
