According to the publication’s sources, the updated version of the contract was sent by the Secretary of the National Security Council Rustem Umerov to the American adviser Jared Kushner. The Ukrainian official emphasized that the response contains comments and proposed amendments “to make all this feasible.”
Before sending, the document was agreed with the European allies of Ukraine, mainly with the E3 countries — Great Britain, France and Germany. The response also proposed new ideas for solving controversial issues, including the future of the territories and the Zaporizhzhya NPP.
The official told the newspaper that high-ranking officials from the United States and Ukraine will hold a virtual meeting on Thursday to continue discussing individual parts of the peace plan.
We will remind that a few days ago, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi met in London with the leaders of Britain, Germany and France, where they discussed the latest version of the US peace plan, which was brought by the Secretary of the NSDC Rustem Umerov.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron will meet in Berlin on December 15 to discuss a peace plan for Ukraine.
It will be recalled that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that on December 9, Ukraine will complete the preparation of the peace plan and send it to the United States.
Zelensky also told what was discussed at the talks with the leaders of the allies in London.
