This significant increase in cultural funding shows the growing importance of the cultural sphere for the state. The program “1000 hours of Ukrainian content” is designed to strengthen national identity and support the development of the Ukrainian media space. Funding of the telethon at the level of 4 billion hryvnias once again emphasizes the importance of media coverage of events in the country.
It is expected that thanks to such support, the cultural sector will receive an impetus for development, and Ukrainian content will become more accessible and competitive on the domestic and international markets.
