The premiere of the second season is scheduled for December 17.
Filming of the third season of Fallout will begin in the summer of next year / Photo – AmazonFallout showrunner and executive producer Jonathan Nolan has confirmed that the third season is set to begin filming next summer, if all goes well.
Speaking to IGN, Nolan shared that the team wants to get back to filming as soon as possible:
“We hope to start next summer. Let’s see how everything will come together. An unpleasant trend has entered serial production – the breaks between seasons are getting longer and longer. We don’t want to lose the scale of the show, but we understand that the audience needs to wait as little as possible.”
In fact, not so much time has passed: the first season was released in April last year, and the premiere of the second is scheduled for next week.
But if the shooting of the third season starts in the summer of 2026, the audience will be able to see the result only after a few years. Especially if Nolan continues to explore the Wasteland on the same scale.
The premiere of the second season of Fallout is scheduled for December 17. Unlike the first season, all episodes will not be released on the same day, but will be shown one per week until February 4.
Earlier we told you that Amazon showed the first excerpt from the 2nd season of the Fallout series. In the scene shown, Lucy and the Ghul find themselves in the town of Novak, which is familiar to New Vegas fans.
