People’s deputy Hanna Skorokhod appeared for questioning at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau on December 8, where she was charged with inciting bribery for initiating NSDC sanctions against a competitor company. After the questioning, the parliamentarian told journalists that the case against her was a “complete lie.” According to her, she “never demanded anything from anyone” and “did not take any money.”
Skorokhod confirmed that the part of the secret video released by NABU really shows her: “I understood the part of the video. It is me where I am sitting on the couch. And I do not deny it. And everything else is not true. And the whole video is a cut,” she said.
When asked by journalists about the content of the conversation from the video, the deputy answered that she asked NABU to provide the full version. She believes that after the publication of the full record “there will be no case” and is ready to provide materials if the investigator allows.
Walker appeared for questioning at NABU in the case of incitement to bribery.
