Against the background of a full-scale war in our country, the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has become one of the most important holidays of the year. This is an occasion to pay tribute to all the soldiers who give everything they have to protect the country.
Since 1991, we have been celebrating the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on December 6. Then the parliament passed the law on the creation of the army, and then the servicemen took an oath to the Ukrainian state.
The date on which we honor the defenders was chosen for a reason. It falls on the anniversary of the successful march of the UNR partisans to the rear of the Red Army.
