The International Boxing Federation has no objections to holding a match between Oleksandr Usyk and Deontay Wilder.

A representative of the organization explained: “The IBF is not currently in the queue of mandatory contenders. This issue will become relevant only when the time for mandatory protection according to our version comes.”

Earlier, permission for the fight was already given by the WBC, and now it remains to wait for the final decision from the WBA.

Previously, the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight title holder (over 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk (24–0, 15 KOs) talked about his plans and admitted when he intends to end his professional career. The boxer recently made the WBO title vacant and lost the status of absolute world champion.
