On the night of December 6, the Russian invaders launched a massive missile-drone attack on electricity generation, distribution and transmission facilities in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Lviv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions.

Details: As a result of the attack in the morning, consumers in Odesa, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv regions are without power.

Emergency recovery work is already being carried out where the security situation currently allows. “Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore all subscribers as soon as possible,” the Ministry of Energy noted.

In all regions of Ukraine on December 6, hourly shutdown schedules are applied. Also, capacity limitation schedules for industrial consumers and businesses continue to apply in all regions of Ukraine.

“Current schedules are posted on the official resources of regional operators of the distribution system. You can find out about changes in energy supply on the pages of the oblastenergo of your region,” the Ministry of Energy reminded.
