What preceded: Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine, NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office reported that they had uncovered an organized criminal group in Kyiv, which, according to the investigation, was led by a people’s deputy. She is suspected of receiving a large bribe. Law enforcement did not officially name the deputy.
According to UP sources, it is about the People’s Deputy from the party “For the Future” Hanna Skorokhod.
Skorokhod confirmed the information about the searches in her apartment and called them “direct pressure on the opposition”.

- On November 14, 2019, People’s Deputy from “Servant of the People” Anna Skorokhod accused the authorities of detaining her husband Oleksiy Alyakin because of her vote contrary to the faction’s position. Skorokhod connected the detention with the fact that she voted against the draft law on the opening of the land market in the first reading.
- At the same time, the head of the faction David Arakhamia accused Skorokhod of offering bribes. In addition, Arakhamia claimed that Skorokhod lobbies the interests of “specific oligarchic groups” in the Council. He warned that he would initiate her expulsion from the deputy association.
- In response to Arakhamia’s accusations, Skorokhod said that deputies allegedly receive $5,000 in envelopes.
- Then the “Servant of the People” faction decided to exclude Skorokhod from its membership. After that, she became a member of the “Party for the Future” parliamentary group, which is associated with the oligarch Igor Kolomoiskyi.
