During the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Washington, US President Donald Trump said that, ultimately, the war in Ukraine with the Russian Federation will be settled.

We are looking for another option for settlement (war, – ed.) between Russia and Ukraine, if possible. And I believe that in the end we will achieve this.”
