– In a conversation with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, some leaders of European countries warned him that during the peace talks, the USA may lean towards decisions that are against the interests of Kyiv, writes the German publication Spiegel. Thus, French President Emmanuel Macron allegedly said that there is a possibility that the US will betray Ukraine in the issue of territories without clearly defining security guarantees. And Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz allegedly warned that the Ukrainian leader should be extremely careful in the coming days.
– The Irish newspaper Journal writes that in Dublin, four unidentified military-type drones violated the no-fly zone on the night of December 2 and moved in the direction of the flight path of Zelenskyi’s plane. However, according to the publication, the plane landed a little earlier than the scheduled time – a few minutes before the incident.
– In Lviv, a serviceman of the Halytsia-Frankivsk RTCC and SP Yuriy Bondarenko was fatally wounded. According to the investigation, a 30-year-old man from Lviv stabbed a soldier during a document check and, using a gas canister, ran away. The deceased is a veteran with combat experience who, after the front, continued to serve in the TCC and SP.
– In some assault regiments operating in the Armed Forces, facts of massive violation of the rights of servicemen were discovered. The case was handed over to the law enforcement officers, said the military ombudsman Olga Reshetylova.
– The Naftogaz Group announced that massive Russian shelling on December 3 practically destroyed the Kherson Thermal Power Plant. INFORMATION FROM THE GENERAL STAFF OF THE ARMY REGARDING THE SITUATION AT THE FRONT (22:00)
Today, the occupiers carried out 38 airstrikes and dropped 119 guided air bombs. In addition, the Russians engaged 3,207 kamikaze drones and fired 3,875 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
On Severno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out one air strike, dropped two guided air bombs, launched 98 attacks, including one from rocket salvo fire systems.
On Yuzhno-Slobozhanskyi direction, our troops stopped four enemy attacks in the areas of Izbytskyi, Prylipka, and Synelnikovi.
On Kupiansky and Kramatorsk directions since the beginning of the day, the enemy did not carry out offensive actions.
On Lymansky direction, during the day, the Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Grekivka, Drobysheve, Zarichne, and Oleksandrivka nine times. One combat encounter is ongoing.
On Slavic direction Defense forces repelled 11 enemy attacks near Yampol, Dronivka, Serebryanka and Siversk. Currently, another combat clash is underway.
On Kostyantynivskyi direction, the Russians attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 15 times. The occupiers concentrated their main offensive efforts in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyny, Kostyantynivka, Mykolaypill, Torsky and in the direction of Berestk and Sofiivka.
On Pokrovsky direction, the invading units tried 51 times to break through our defenses in the areas of Shakhovy, Novy Shakhovy, Krasnoy Liman, Myrnograd, Vilny, Novoeconomy, Rodinsky, Novopavlivka, Pokrovsk, Svitly, Kotlyny, Udachny, Molodetsky, Dachny. In four locations, fighting continues until now. Today, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 127 occupiers in this direction, 83 of them irreversibly. 13 unmanned aerial vehicles, one mortar, two units of automobile equipment and 11 units of special enemy equipment were also destroyed. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers hit two units of road transport and one enemy artillery system.
On Oleksandrovsky direction, the enemy attacked 19 times in the areas of Zeleny Gay, Yalta, Aleksandrograd, Sosnivka, Stepovoy, Verbovoy, Privilny, Vyshnevoy, Pavlivka, Krasnohirsky, and Rybny. Our defenders successfully stopped all enemy attacks.
On Gulyaipilskyi in the direction of the Defense Forces repelled 12 Russian attacks near Zatyshsh, Gulyaipol and in the direction of Pryluk. The enemy carried out airstrikes on the districts of Staroukrainka, Ternuvaty, and Gulyaipol.
The defense forces successfully stopped the enemy’s attempt to break through our positions on Orihivskyi direction in the Primorsky region. The settlements of Stepnohirsk, Hryhorivka and Veselyanka were hit by guided bombs.
On Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy made a futile attempt to advance in the direction of the Antonivsky bridge.
On other directions the situation has not undergone significant changes.
