According to the first lady, she and her representative “provided humanitarian assistance from the United States to improve the results of the reunification initiative” of Ukrainian children.
As a result, “seven more children – six boys and one girl – returned to their families in Ukraine,” the White House said in a statement.
In August, Melania Trump wrote a “peace letter” to Vladimir Putin, telling him “the time has come.” Donald Trump handed this letter to the head of the Kremlin before the summit in Alaska.
After that, the first lady of the USA said that she has an “open channel of communication” with Putin regarding the return of children kidnapped from Ukraine.
It will be recalled that the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin in 2023 precisely because of the forced transfer of children from the occupied territories of Ukraine.
