He emphasized that millions of people will seek to return home when the situation becomes safe — this will stimulate a massive reconstruction of the infrastructure.
The company does not yet plan to place aircraft in Ukrainian airports for a short period of time. Air traffic operations can be resumed quickly – the key factors are the condition of runways, airports and terminals.
EasyJet will ensure compliance with the highest safety standards for passengers.
EasyJet is one of the leaders of budget transportation in Europe with a fleet of more than 300 aircraft.
The airline operates regular flights on 927 routes in 34 countries through its divisions: EasyJet UK, EasyJet Switzerland and EasyJet Europe. This makes it a powerful player for quick entry into the Ukrainian market.
Other low-cost carriers are also preparing for a comeback. Wizz Air promises to resume around 30 routes within six weeks of opening the skies.
