The day before, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga, in a conversation with journalists in Brussels, confirmed that the Ukrainian delegation had received an invitation to the United States.
The head of the Ukrainian foreign policy department also noted that Kyiv has not yet received detailed information about the content of the American-Russian talks that took place on Monday in the Kremlin. Sibiga emphasized that there were “objective reasons” for this.
