Ukrainian tennis player Oleksandr Oliinikov (WTA 96) completed her performances at the WTA 125 clay tournament in Quito, Ecuador.

In the second round, the Ukrainian lost to the former 35th ranked player in the world in three sets Poloni Herzog (Slovenia, WTA 672) in 2 hours and 31 minutes.

Polona Herzog (Slovenia) – Oleksandra Oliinikova (Ukraine) [2] – 4:6, 6:3, 6:3

Oliynikova held her fourth head-to-head match against Herzog and suffered her third loss. Two weeks earlier, Oleksandra passed Polona at the competition of the same category in Kolin.

Oliynikova managed to beat Martina Kolmenya on the Quito courts. Herzog will compete either against Varvara Lepchenko or Elvina Kaliyeva in the quarterfinals.
