President of “Real” Florentino Perez is ready to take an unexpected step: to sell one of his favorites in order to strengthen the center of the field with Vitinho from PSG.
Real Madrid are increasingly talking about the need to renew the squad after a series of uncertain matches. The main candidate for the exit is called Rodrigo – a forward whom the president highly valued, but the Brazilian has not been able to regain his form for several months and is gradually losing positions in Xabi Alonso’s schemes. The club plans to use the proceeds for the transfer of Vitinho, PSG’s key midfielder.
The Portuguese is valued at €90 million and remains a tough target, but Madrid believe he could be the new leader in midfield and solve the team’s mid-season woes.
