Details: Commenting on the allies’ statements during the RUN meeting, Sybiga said that the preservation of Ukraine’s sovereignty was one of the positions on which concessions are impossible – and, according to him, there is broad agreement among the members of the Alliance.

“In particular, our right to participate in any unions, in any associations cannot be limited by a third country,” the minister outlined Ukraine’s position.
“And I see that we now have the support of our allies, the Europeans. Because today a lot of delegations at the level of foreign ministers have once again confirmed their support for Euro-Atlantic aspirations in Ukraine,” Sybiga emphasized.
This statement was made against the background of yet another attempt at peace talks initiated by the United States. As you know, at one of the stages, the American proposal, formed under the influence of the Russians, provided for the official cancellation by NATO of the prospect of Ukraine joining the organization. However, without the support of the Alliance members, such a provision cannot be established.
Before the start of the ministerial meeting in Brussels, the ambassador of Ukraine to NATO spoke on negotiations with the USA regarding sovereignty and membership in the Alliance.
