On December 2, during a meeting in Dublin, President Volodymyr Zelensky presented awards to the families of Irish military volunteers who died defending Ukraine.

Zelensky’s direct speech: “It is an honor for me today to see you, meet you and personally hand you the awards of your children who gave their lives for Ukraine. This is an honor for Ukraine. They defended the freedom of our people at such a high price.”

Details: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska met with relatives of Irish volunteers Graham Dale, Robert Deegan and Oleksandr Ryzhuk. They died defending Ukraine from the Russian invaders.
