“I will say frankly, the territorial issue is the most difficult. The issue of money for reconstruction is, in my opinion, not easy and difficult without the presence of European partners, because the money is in Europe. I think it is not very fair. And the issue of security guarantees, which is very important, specifically from the United States of America, specifically from Europe,” the president said.
“That is, I would say that these are three main topics, highways and at the same time triggers. And here we have to be very careful,” he added.
The head of state also thanked the negotiating groups of Ukraine, adding that “the plan looks better.”
Earlier on Monday, Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced that together with the leaders of France and Britain had a phone conversation with the special representative of the US president, Steve Witkoff, and the secretary of the National Security Council and head of the Ukrainian negotiating delegation, Rustem Umyerov.
The conversation with Witkoff took place on the eve of his meeting with the ruler of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin scheduled for Tuesday, December 2.
