“We emphasize that none of the actions of the Ukrainian side are directed against the Republic of Kazakhstan or other third parties – all efforts of Ukraine are aimed at repelling full-scale Russian aggression within the framework of the implementation of the right to self-defense guaranteed by Article 51 of the UN Charter,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
It is added that the Defense Forces of Ukraine systematically weaken the military-industrial potential of the aggressor and deprive him of the means to wage a criminal war of aggression.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reminded that Ukrainians are dying because of Russian attacks, so the country strikes in response to the blows and attacks of the aggressor.
“We emphasize once again that Russian aggression remains the only factor of destabilization and the cause of security challenges in the Black Sea region and beyond,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine emphasized.
At the same time, the agency recalled that Kazakhstan did not make any statements regarding the condemnation of Russian strikes on civilians in Ukraine, residential buildings, and energy infrastructure.
“Against the background of today’s concerns, we separately draw attention to the lack of previous statements by the Kazakh side condemning the strikes of the Russian Federation against civilians in Ukraine, residential buildings, civil infrastructure and the energy system of our state, in particular substations of Ukrainian nuclear power plants,” the department said.
It is reported that as a result of the latest Russian attack on Ukraine, which lasted 9 hours and the enemy used both drones and missiles, civilians were killed and wounded, and at least 500,000 residents of Kyiv and more than 100,000 residents of the Kyiv region were left without electricity.
“We call on all parties to focus their efforts on forcing the aggressor to end the criminal war against our state and people as soon as possible,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
At the same time, the department’s message also states that Ukraine confirms its constant respect for the Kazakh people and its determination to develop friendly and pragmatic relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan.
