“We emphasize that no actions of the Ukrainian side are directed against the Republic of Kazakhstan or other third parties – all efforts of Ukraine are aimed at repelling full-scale Russian aggression within the framework of the realization of the right to self-defense guaranteed by Article 51 of the UN Charter,” the comment reads.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Russian aggression remains the only destabilizing factor and the cause of security challenges in the Black Sea region and beyond.

Literally: “Against the background of today’s concerns, we separately draw attention to the lack of previous statements by the Kazakh side condemning the strikes of the Russian Federation against civilians in Ukraine, residential buildings, civil infrastructure and the energy system of our state, in particular substations of Ukrainian nuclear power plants.

Just the day before yesterday, Russia carried out a nine-hour combined missile-drone attack against Ukraine, as a result of which civilians were killed and wounded, and at least 500,000 residents of Kyiv and more than 100,000 residents of the Kyiv region were left without electricity.

We call on all parties to direct efforts to force the aggressor to end the criminal war against our state and people as soon as possible.”

Details: At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed “unchanging respect for the Kazakh people and determination to develop friendly and pragmatic relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan, which correspond to the level of historically strong ties between our peoples.”

What preceded: The marine terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in Novorossiysk stopped the shipment of oil after an attack by Ukrainian unmanned boats in the morning of November 29.

November 30 Kazakhstan called on Ukraine to end attacks on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) Black Sea terminal in Russia’s Novorossiysk, which handles more than 1% of global oil supplies, after a series of drone attacks halted exports and severely damaged loading infrastructure.
