Promoter Eddie Hearn said that if boxer Anthony Joshua loses to Jake Paul, then they will all have to retire from boxing.
“Paul is a top 10 cruiserweight. He is an average boxer for his weight. But he is not a world-class boxer, which is exactly what is needed to have a chance against Joshua. If I’m wrong, then it’s time for me to quit boxing.”
“Not only I, but also Joshua have to finish the career in case of failure. We all finish boxing then. But we will see for ourselves how quickly everything will end in the ring. Paul signed up for it himself. There will be no regrets,” Hearn said.
The Paul-Joshua fight will take place on December 19 in Miami.
