A little later, the press service of the Kyiv TCC published a statement in which it confirmed not only Harmash’s detention, but also his mobilization to one of the units of the Armed Forces.

“To the attention of the public and media representatives! Manipulative information about the alleged detention with the use of force of an ex-footballer of one of the football clubs is spreading on the Internet. It is also noted that a bribe was also demanded from him.

In order to prevent the spread of distorted information, we would like to inform you that the National Police brought former football player Denis Garmash to the Pechersk RTCC and the SP of the city of Kyiv to clarify the data. He did not have a reservation or postponement of the draft due to mobilization.

After passing the VLK and communicating with recruiters, he chose to serve in one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
