“The invaders carried out 25 air strikes, dropping 78 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the Russians brought in 1,727 kamikaze drones to destroy and carried out 2,535 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas,” the summary reads as of 10:00 p.m.
A quarter of the battles were recorded in the Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region.
“Since the beginning of the day, in the Pokrovsky direction, Russian units have tried to break through Ukrainian defenses 58 times in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Nove Shakhove, Zatyshok, Chervyn Liman, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Novoeconomichne, Pischane, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Dachne, and in the directions of Hryshiny and Novopavlivka. “Four combat clashes continue until now,” the message stated.
Battles also continued in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk, South-Slobozhansk, Kupyansk, Lymansk, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivsk, Oleksandrivsk, Gulyaipilsk, and Orihiv directions.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said in an interview for Bloomberg on November 13 that “any decision on the withdrawal of troops from the city is a matter for military commanders on the ground.”
Pokrovsk – a city with a population of about 1,250 people (estimated by the local authorities at the end of October, before the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation – more than 60,000) – is an important road and railway junction and was under threat of encirclement by Russian troops for most of the year.
