Details: It was established that the suspect was friends with a man who inherited an apartment in Obolon, but did not register the ownership of it. Therefore, he convinced the heir that he was a real estate specialist and would help register the ownership of the apartment. For this, the husband provided a power of attorney to represent his interests and dispose of his property.

However, after issuing the power of attorney, the man from Kyiv suddenly died, which the suspect knew for sure, because he found his body in the apartment and reported it to the police.
On the same day, having a power of attorney, which became invalid due to the death of the husband, the “real estate specialist” turned to a private notary and entered into a contract of sale of the apartment with his wife on behalf of the deceased. At the same time, the woman did not pay money for the real estate. According to the documents, the apartment was sold for 1.5 million hryvnias.
Currently, the apartment has been seized, and the Kyiv resident has been notified of suspicion of taking possession of the home by deception (Part 5 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
