Disgraced actor Kevin Spacey will face three more civil claims of sexual assault in London next year.

BBC News reported on Wednesday that the claims have come from three separate men, who allege the House of Cards star assaulted them between 2000 and 2013. A judge has suggested a provisional trial date of Oct. 12, 2026, although it remains undecided whether they’ll be heard in a single trial or three consecutive ones.

The Oscar-winning actor, who from 2004 to 2013 was the artistic director of the Old Vic, has continuously rejected the claims made against him and formally denied two out of the three made this week. He is yet to file a defense with the court in the third, the BBC added.

One of the men alleges Spacey “deliberately assaulted” him on 12 occasions between 2000 and 2005, while another says he “suffered psychiatric damage and financial loss” after an assault in 2008. This man originally sued Spacey in 2022, but his case was halted when criminal charges were brought against the Hollywood actor. A London trial in July 2023 saw the actor acquitted of nine sexual offense charges.

The third man, Ruari Cannon, has waived his right to anonymity and was one of 10 participants in the 2024 Channel 4 doc Spacey Unmasked. Cannon starred in a production of Sweet Bird of Youth at the Old Vic in 2013 and claims Spacey groped him at a party after the play’s press night. Like a “shark”, Spacey then “moved into press mode” for the cameras, Cannon said in the program. (Spacey said the allegation was “ridiculous and it never happened.”)

Spacey wrote on X after the documentary was released: “Each time I have been given the time and a proper forum to defend myself, the allegations have failed under scrutiny and I have been exonerated.” He has previously confessed to “being too handsy,” but maintains he has never “groped” anyone.

Spacey’s team did not immediately respond to comments from The Hollywood Reporter about the new claims.

He opened up earlier this week about having “no home” due to “astronomical” legal costs over the last seven years, but suggested he could be about to make a comeback. “We are in touch with some extremely powerful people who want to put me back to work,” Spacey said in an interview with The Telegraph published earlier this week. “And that will happen in its right time. But I will also say what I think the industry seems to be waiting for is to be given permission — by someone who is in some position of enormous respect and authority.”

“So,” he continued, “my feeling is if Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino called Evan [Lowenstein, Spacey’s manager] tomorrow, it will be over. I will be incredibly honored and delighted when that level of talent picks up the phone,” he added. “And I believe it’s going to happen.”
