Astra later reported that the target of the drone attack was a refinery in Novokuibyshevsk.
“On the footage taken from Michurina Street, at least 3 flashes were recorded: in the air at a height of about 1.5 km, above the horizon, but also in the air – probably again the work of the air defense system south of the Novokuibyshev refinery (the distance from the shooting location to the explosion is more than 3.5 km), as well as a bright flash at the very end – directly on the territory of the refinery,” writes Astra, which analyzed the video of eyewitnesses.
The local authorities have not yet commented on the attack.
JSC “Novokuibyshev Oil Refinery” is part of PJSC “NK Rosneft” group.
Previously, drones attacked the plant on November 16 and October 19.
