Polish boxer Michal Sochinsky (11–1, 8 KOs), who suffered a brutal knockout defeat from the Ukrainian Ramazan Muslimov (9–0, 6 KOs), came out of a coma. This was announced by the promotional company KnockOut Promotions.

“We are happy to report that Michal has come out of a medically induced coma and his swelling has subsided. He talked to relatives. The medical team will continue to monitor his recovery over the next few weeks,” Poland said.

On Saturday, November 22, a cruiserweight title fight took place at the “Hala SPortowa MOSiR” arena in Chelm, Poland. Muslimov knocked down his opponent five times, and in the seventh round he knocked out his opponent.

Sochinsky was taken to the hospital and put into a medically induced coma.

Muslimov is the champion of Ukraine and the holder of the WBC Ukraine title, and in the fight with the Pole Ramazan won the first international belt in his career – WBC Baltic.
