More than 116,000 families have already received compensation for the restoration of damaged housing.
The government directed 609 million hryvnias to the Ministry of Community Development for “eRenovation” / photo UNIAN, Serhiy ReveraThe government has simplified the procedure for receiving compensation under the “yeRecovery” program for jointly owned housing.
As Prime Minister Yuliya Svyridenko reported, now, if one of the co-owners has left, does not get in touch or does not take part in the maintenance of the property, this will not block the receipt of assistance. Compensation can be issued by another co-owner – according to a simplified procedure without unnecessary delays.
“This decision will allow people to start repairing damaged housing faster and return it to use, even in situations where it was impossible to get the consent of all co-owners,” the Prime Minister said.
Svyridenko also informed that today, November 26, the government has sent 609 million hryvnias to the Ministry of Community Development to finance the “eRecovery” program. In total, more than 116,000 families have already received compensation for the restoration of damaged housing under the program.
Compensation for damaged property – the latest newsPreviously, UNIAN wrote how the owners of apartments and houses damaged by Russia’s military aggression can receive compensation or a housing certificate for a new home.
In October, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law according to which the former owners of property destroyed by the war will be able to return the land plots on which these objects were located free of charge.
In August, Prime Minister Yuliya Svyridenko announced that internally displaced persons who lost their homes in the temporarily occupied territories will be able to receive assistance from the state in the amount of up to 2 million hryvnias per person or family. At the start, the program will be available to IDPs who have the status of UBD and people who received a disability as a result of the war.
