The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyridenko, announced that the government has simplified the procedure for receiving compensation under the “eRecovery” program for communally owned housing damaged during the war.
She wrote about it in Telegram.
According to Svyridenko, now if one of the co-owners has left, does not get in touch or does not participate in the maintenance of the property, this will no longer block the receipt of assistance.
“The other co-owner will be able to issue the compensation – according to a simplified procedure without unnecessary delays,” the Prime Minister noted.
This decision will allow to start the repair of housing faster and return it to use, even when it is impossible to get the consent of all owners.
Svyridenko reported that the government is directing UAH 609 million to the Ministry of Regions for the “eRecovery” program.
“Another 9,000 Ukrainian families will receive compensation for the repair of housing damaged as a result of Russian aggression,” added the Prime Minister.
In total, more than 116,000 families have already received compensation under the program.
The “eRecovery” program started in 2023 and allows you to receive monetary compensation for current and capital repairs of housing, use a housing certificate to buy a new housing for a completely destroyed one, or submit an application for housing reconstruction on your own land.
As of November 10, 145,226 Ukrainian families received compensation within the framework of the state program “eRecovery” for a total amount of UAH 52.33 billion.
