Is Season 5 the Final One? Yes, this is the final season of Stranger Things. While fans get their tissues ready, the cast already said “goodbye” to their characters after they wrapped filming. At the November 2025 Los Angeles Stranger Things Day special event, Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, gushed about how “lucky” she feels to have met fans who connect with her character over the years.

Millie’s co-star and horror genre icon Winona Ryder got choked up while looking back at the past decade of working on the show.
“I feel like this season I got to spend time with all of them, which was incredibly special,” the actress, who played Joyce Byers on the show, said. “They’re, they’re just … I’ll get emotional. They’re just … I will always love them forever.”
