Despite massive power outages in November, the amount of electricity bills does not decrease.

This was announced by the general director of the Yasno company Serhiy Kovalenko on Facebook.

According to Kovalenko, the invoices for November will be calculated in December, and mass shutdowns began in November.

“That’s why no one could physically see the “effect” in the payments,” explained the general director.

In October, due to the cold weather, electricity consumption was higher, and after the restoration of electricity supply, many families simultaneously turn on powerful appliances – boilers, heaters, washing machines. This causes a sharp jump in consumption.

“Each family can reduce electricity consumption by 25-30% without losing comfort. Turning off the lights can help a little, but without changing consumption habits after the advent of electricity, people will still consume the usual amount,” Kovalenko added.

On the night of November 25, “Ukrenergo” used emergency power cuts on the left bank of Kyiv. This decision was made in response to a massive attack by Russian troops on energy facilities.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga noted that Russia’s nighttime attack by drones and various types of missiles on Kyiv and the regions of Ukraine became a “terrorist the answer » to the peace proposals of the United States and President Trump.

As a result of a massive Russian attack on the capital died six people, another 13 were injured, including one child. Rescuers managed to evacuate 18 victims, and provided psychological assistance to 57 citizens.

In Kyiv, seven districts of the city were left without heat due to the attack of the Russian Federation.
