The 37-year-old coach succeeds Robert Edwards, who recently took charge of Wolverhampton. For Helberg, this is the first experience of working in English football.
Before moving to Middlesbrough, the Swedish specialist worked with Hammarby, with whom he twice won silver medals at the Swedish Championship. In the past he also coached Vernam and was part of the Norrköping coaching staff.
