The capital decided on the cost of New Year’s trees: pine trees will be sold from UAH 500 per linear meter, and Christmas trees from UAH 750. Conifer compositions will cost from 250 to 650 hryvnias.
According to the Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of the KMDA, 141 official points of sale of Christmas trees will operate in the city, reports RBC-Ukraine.
“According to the information of KP “Svitoch” of Kyiv – the organizer of seasonal fairs for the sale of natural conifers in Holosiivsk, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Obolonskyi, Podilskyi districts, Christmas trees will be brought from the forestry of Volyn, Poltava, Zakarpattia, Chernihiv regions, the countries of Denmark and Poland,” the Department said.
The cost of a New Year’s tree in Kyiv will range from UAH 500 to UAH 2.5 thousand per linear meter, depending on the type.
Prices per linear meter:
- pine – from UAH 500;
- Christmas tree Poland – from UAH 750;
- Denmark Christmas tree – from UAH 2,500;
Collected Christmas tree compositions:
- 30 cm – UAH 250;
- 60 cm – UAH 400;
- 1 m – UAH 550.
Collected compositions from pine: 1 m – 650 hryvnias.
