Former world champion Andy Ruiz is ready to fight against Oleksandr Usyk, the absolute world champion in super heavyweight.
“It seems to me that everyone is just trying to get a fight with Usyk. Usyk is the one with belts. Usyk is the one who has a name. Usyk is someone who wants a lot of money. So I think it’s a good fight that I’ll be interested in as well,” Ruiz said.
The last time Andy Ruiz entered the ring was in 2024 – then the fight against Jarrell Miller ended in a draw. Prior to that, in 2019, the Mexican made history by creating one of the biggest upsets of the century when he sensationally knocked out Anthony Joshua and became the heavyweight world champion.
