On the evening of November 23, Poltava and Kharkiv faced power outages, which caused problems with heating, and in Kharkiv even led to a temporary suspension of the subway.

At approximately 5:48 p.m., residents of Poltava began to report that there were voltage drops in the city. In addition, heating and hot water supply has disappeared in some areas.
Power outages were also observed in Kharkiv, lights flickered on the streets and in houses, which led to a temporary stoppage of the metro. Around 6:21 p.m., the Kharkiv subway reported a temporary suspension of train traffic for “technical reasons.”
However, after about 15 minutes, the movement of trains in the Kharkiv metro was restored.
Tomorrow, November 24, consumption restriction measures from 0.5 to 3 shifts will be applied in all regions of Ukraine.
It will be recalled that “Ukrenergo” gave a forecast for a shutdown in the winter.
Ukrenergo also warned about blackouts in some regions.
