The government of Israel has approved the appointment of ten new ambassadors, in particular, the embassy in Ukraine will be headed by Roy Rosenblit.

Rosenblit will replace the current head of the diplomatic mission in Kyiv, Mykhailo Brodskyi, whose term of office is expiring. Brodsky held the position of Israel’s ambassador to Ukraine since 2021.
The new ambassador Rosenblit previously worked part-time in the countries of the Pacific region, and also headed the Israeli diplomatic mission in Senegal.
Roy Rosenblit graduated from the Hebrew University with majors in linguistics, Arabic language and literature, and public policy.
After serving in the IDF in 1994, he enrolled in a training course for diplomats at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As part of the diplomatic service, Rosenblit studied the issues of Saudi Arabia, the countries of the Persian Gulf and Yemen, held a position in the representative office of Israel in Muscat (Oman), in the embassy in Moscow and in the economic department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
