The corps notes that the launch of the commission will significantly improve the quality of medical care for servicemen. The main advantage is that soldiers will be able to undergo a medical examination directly at the place of service, without long trips, queues and unnecessary bureaucratic procedures.
Thanks to this, the military will receive the necessary conclusions much faster, and commanders will be able to plan the service of personnel more efficiently.
At the same time, commanders can quickly direct subordinates to undergo the VLK and receive conclusions.
“This reduces downtime, simplifies planning and speeds up the return of fighters to missions” – they say in the army.
Currently, the commission of the 3rd Army Corps provides opinions for signing a contract, obtaining a leave of absence and determining fitness for duty.
The head of the VLK, the doctor of the 4th medical battalion, Dana’s friend, is convinced that such an innovation is important for the military.
“We want to simplify the way for our soldiers. The queues at the current VLK are too long, and the attitude towards the military is not always appropriate. Our goal is for each soldier to pass the commission quickly, with respect and without unnecessary obstacles.” says the doctor.
4th separate medical battalion (4 OMedB) is a medical unit formed on the basis of the medical company of the 3rd separate assault brigade, which is part of the 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Its main tasks are evacuation of the wounded, provision of specialized medical care at stabilization points and advanced surgical groups, diagnosis and treatment of somatic patients, logistics and medical supply, documentary support, etc.
