Ukrainian tennis players Elina Svitolina and Marta Kostyuk will play at the exhibition team tournament of the World Tennis League.

WL will be held from December 17 to 21 in Bengaluru, India. This will be the fourth draw of the competition – the previous three years the tournament was held in the UAE.

Both male and female tennis players participate in WL. Each player is assigned to one of four teams: Eagles, Falcons, Hawks and Kites.

Format: four teams play each other in a round-robin format. Each match consists of four matches: one men’s singles, one women’s singles and two doubles matches, which can be men’s doubles, women’s doubles or mixed doubles, depending on which team wins the draw. Based on the results of all confrontations, the final pair is determined – the two best teams will meet in a match for the trophy.

In 2025, in addition to Elina and Marta, Gael Monfils, Nick Kyrgios, Denis Shapovalov, Paula Badosa, Rohan Bopanna, Magda Lynette and Daniil Medvedev are also planning to play in Bengaluru.

Svitolina replaced Yelena Rybakina, and Shapovalov will play together with Artur Fis.

A team tennis tournament with a prize fund of $20 million has been completed in the UAE
