Details: Green, who has recently fallen out with President Trump, has announced plans to draft a mandate.
“If I am rejected from MAGA Inc and replaced by neoconservatives, big pharma, tech giants, the military, foreign leaders and a class of elite donors who have nothing to do with real Americans, then many ordinary Americans are also being rejected and replaced,” Green said.
“I am going back to the people I love to live life to the fullest, as I have always done, and to find a new way forward. I will be leaving office, my last day in office will be January 5, 2026,” the congresswoman wrote.
This statement was preceded by her growing differences with President Donald Trump. Among other things, she was among several Republicans who signed a petition demanding a vote on the release of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein’s case files.
Last week, Trump distanced himself from the congresswoman, who used to be his ally and ardent supporter, calling her a “traitor.”
