According to estimates by the AFP agency, based on data from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the implementation of the US “peace plan” in its current form could lead to the fact that Russia will receive a territory almost the size of Luxembourg without a fight.

Details: Among other things, Ukraine would cede almost 5,000 square kilometers in Donetsk region and 45 square kilometers in Luhansk region.

In exchange for this, Moscow allegedly has to return almost 2,000 square kilometers in the Kharkiv region, 450 in the Dnipropetrovsk region, 300 in the Sumy region, and 20 in the Chernihiv region.

“The plan proposed by Washington actually provides for the transfer of 20% of Ukraine’s territory for the return of less than 0.5%,” the AFP article says.

US President Donald Trump gave Ukraine until next Thursday, November 27, to agree to the “peace plan” proposed by the US side.

On Friday, Zelensky addressed the Ukrainian people, in which he said that Ukraine today faced a difficult choice and risked losing either its dignity or its key partner.
