Details: A former employee of the US Congress has been charged with conspiracy to provide false information about a violent crime and providing false testimony to law enforcement agencies.

According to prosecutors, Green and an accomplice staged the attack on themselves on a hiking trail at a nature preserve in Egg Harbor, New Jersey.
On July 23, Green and her accomplice called 911 to report the assault. They claimed that three armed men attacked Green, tied her up, wrote “Trump whore” on her stomach and cut her numerous times. Green told police that the attack was related to her work for New Jersey Republican Congressman Jefferson Van Drew.
Upon arriving at the scene, police found Green with his hands and feet bound in plastic ties and his shirt pulled over his head. According to the indictment, she had the words “Trump Whore” on her stomach and “Trump Whore” on her back.[ім’я федерального чиновника] – a racist.” She had slash wounds on her face, neck, chest and shoulders. Green claimed that one of the attackers had threatened to shoot her.
During the investigation, law enforcement officers found significant discrepancies in the testimony of Green and her accomplice. Police determined that Green’s accomplice had searched the Internet for information about “screeds near me” on the eve of the incident, and similar screeds were found in a Maserati owned by Green. Additionally, a receipt was found showing that on the day of the incident, Green paid a body modification artist $500 for the cuts.
If convicted on both counts, Green faces up to 10 years in prison and a $500,000 fine. She has been released on $200,000 bail.
